What should I know before ordering my headstone?
The most important piece of information to know is the size and type of headstone that is accepted within the cemetery where the headstone is to be placed. Each cemetery is VERY different with their requirements and this is the first piece of information you need to know before ordering from us. We also will double check with the cemetery after the order has been placed.

Why should I purchase my headstone from Walton Memorials?
The Walton name has been synonymous with design and quality for more than one hundred years. The quality of our products is second to none and each headstone is guaranteed. We know you will be pleased with the service and quality you receive from Walton Memorials. If you are not satisfied, we will refund your money. We are that confident in our products and ability to serve you.

How will I approve the design of my headstone?
Once the order is placed, you will receive an email with a PDF file (adobe acrobat reader) for you to print and approve. We will make up to 2 changes to your design free of charge. Once this takes place, you email us with your approval to start your project. We will NOT start any work until you have approved it.

Your prices are much lower than local vendors or others on the internet. Do you sell high quality merchandise?
Yes, we sell the highest quality granite. We use many of the same quarries that are used by your local cemetery and have our own sources all over the country. Our quality of granite and etching is the highest available. The reason we can beat most of the other companies is that we have streamlined the process of manufacturing and can produce your headstone much quicker than other companies - thus keeping the price lower and passing the substantial savings to you, our customer.

Will my local cemetery accept a headstone purchased by Walton Memorials?
YES. As long as the headstone meets their requirements regarding size and material. They are legally required to accept any headstone that meets their conditions. YOU have a choice and can purchase your headstone from whomever you wish. The cemetery cannot force you to purchase a headstone from them.

Do you manufacture other headstones besides flat granite?
We carry and manufacture all sizes and shapes in granite, including uprights, benches, and family crypts. If you would like a quote on a size or shape of granite that is not found on our website, please call our customer service department at 408-358-1320. If you are looking for a monument designed in bronze instead of granite, we refer all of our bronze inquiries to CR Bronzeworks in Lindon, Utah.

Will you do headstones in other languages?
We have completed many languages including; Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese Russian, Farsi, and Arabic. If you would like a quote on a headstone written in one of these or another language, please contact us for a quote.

Does the cemetery install the headstone when it is delivered?
Usually the cemetery will install the headstone for a fee. This fee is the same whether it is purchased from the cemetery or an outside vendor such as Walton Memorials. Legally they cannot charge a different rate for the same service. If the cemetery does not install headstones, you should contact a local monument dealer to do the installation.

Why does the cemetery make me feel that I HAVE to buy my headstone from them?
One of the problems with the funeral business is that for years they have not had much competition and could charge whatever they wanted. So of course they don't want to give you a choice because we can give you a better price. We are starting to erode their profits. Many cemeteries will tell you that you "SHOULD" purchase your headstone from them for a number of reasons. The main reason is that they want your business. Remember, most cemeteries purchase their headstones from companies such as ours and will mark-up the price as high as 300 percent. They can not legally force you to purchase a headstone from them.

Should I try to install the headstone on my own?
Probably not! Most cemeteries CAN and DO require that they install the headstones. It is probably much better to have someone who is experienced install the stone. But remember, their fee for installing the headstone cannot legally be more if you purchase the headstone from us than it is if you purchase a headstone from them.

Is the shipping price included with my purchase?
Yes, we always ship to the cemetery unless otherwise specified by our clients.

Will you quote me on a custom headstone, crypt or bench?
Of course we will. Monuments are our business. We are offering the flat markers on the internet but we also manufacture and deliver headstones throughout the United States. Just call our customer service department at 408-358-1320 or send us an email.

Can I add a photo to my headstone?
Yes. We can order and install a photo in any one of our headstones. The cost of a photo/installation in granite can range from$350 - $500. This is in addition to the regular cost of the headstone. This is becoming a very popular tradition - to have the image of a loved one on the headstone.

When will my headstone be delivered?
As mentioned above, we will normally have your headstone delivered to the cemetery of your choice. Once the design proof has been approved by you, we will ship your product within 6-8 weeks. Usually delivery time anywhere in the United States will take approximately one week. We can deliver to residential addresses for an ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Please check with us.

How do I pay for my purchase?
You will be directed through their secure checkout process. You may also send personal checks or money orders. Your order will be processed after your check has cleared the bank or your money order has been received.

Do you manufacture headstones for pets?
We most certainly do.
